Meet Coach Dana

Hi and Welcome!  

Hi! I am Coach Dana, and I am a certified Road Runners Club of America and USATF Level I Coach. I also provide LIVE Coaching and workouts at Charge Running https://charge.app.link/AjKqaw5oqR. I have been a runner for 26+ years and truly have a passion for running and helping others reach their goals. I am a minivan driving Momma with three little ones who understands the struggle for finding balance and joy in life and running. 

Running Highlights:

4 Marathons, 14 Half Marathons, 100+ 10K, 5K and other races. Ran competitively starting in junior high through college and beyond. Ran before kids, while pregnant, between kids, and while juggling three little ones. 

Why Do I Run: 

It is a part of me. I run to get better, stay competitive, find peace and be an example for my kids. 

What Kind Of Coach Are You:

Honest and encouraging. I have had good, great, decent and awful races. I have been there and can help you through all the highs and lows of running.

Online Coaching

At True Potential Running, we cater to athletes of all ages and experience levels. Whether you are looking to move to the next level in your running career, are just starting to explore running, or are looking to get back in shape after some time off, online coaching will help you reach your true potential.

Monthly Coaching

$160 Per Month

  • Customized Training Plan (built around your running history, schedule and upcoming races)

  • Access to your coach via email, phone and text 

  • Expert advice on stretching, nutrition, race prep and recovery

  • Online access to your training plan through Training Peaks

  • Feedback on runs and workouts

  • Training schedule modifications if necessary

  • Running-specific strength and stretching exercises to prevent injury

Each month your Monthly Coaching membership will automatically renew for $160.00 and be charged to a valid credit/debit card or PayPal account on file, which may be updated by the card issuer, or an existing PayPal account. There is new customer one time sign up fee of $4.94, which includes account set up and training plan design. 

You may cancel your Monthly Coaching membership at any time and be refunded the remaining balance by emailing truepotentialrunning@gmail.com. By purchasing the Monthly Coaching membership, you are agreeing to the membership terms.

At True Potential Running, we strive to help you achieve your running goals while helping others. We will donate 5% of your Coaching and Training Plan expenses to Girls On The Run, an organization that utilizes running to empower girls to find the confidence to pursue their boldest dreams.

 
 
Customized Training Plans

You are twice as likely to achieve your goals with a plan.

This option is best for more experienced runners looking to follow an individualized plan for an upcoming race or to strive towards reaching your true potential. After a fitness assessment and consultation, we will design an individualized training plan that will include weekly mileage, speed workouts, long runs and cross-training. The plan will also include paces, distances and intensity based on your individual goals. This plan does not include ongoing coaching services or email support; communication is minimal. If you would like a more hands on approach, please see our online coaching services.

12-Week Training Plan

$150

Ideal for the runner looking for more structure in their training cycle. Online access to your training plan through Training Peaks. A great plan for the runner looking for more consistent and challenging runs.

16-Week Training Plan

$175

Ideal for a marathon or half marathon training program. Online access to your training plan through Training Peaks. Assumes a few months of base mileage has been established.

20-Week Training Plan

"Coach Dana has taught me so very much. Running and challenging myself is something that I never dreamed would take the adventure that it has. 

 

I am 65 years old and to date I am training for my 21st half marathon in September 2017 and my 11th full marathon in October 2017. Dana challenged me to run a 10K in 2009, then proposed that I run my first half marathon in January 2010. Today I am training so much differently – Dana has explained the “whys” and “because,” which has made me a better runner. I have learned so many things that you will not be able to read in a book or learn from the internet.

I've been a runner since middle school and have continued until now, age 38. Recently, however, I had lost my passion for running partially because I didn't feel great on my runs and I was getting bored with the workouts.
